GCE A/L Science and Technology Scholarships - 2 Years only
When we started our work in Vanni, only 10% of the students were choosing Science streams in the GCE A/L classes.
We started by offering scholarships to 10 students who choose to study science streams in the GCE A/L 2015 batch.
We all know the importance of Science education as it produces better job opportunities. On top of that, students from rural areas have better chances of getting into Universities with lower scores based on district allocations.
We have gradually included Technology stream and increased the number of students for this scholarship to 120 students from the GCE A/L 2024 Batch, including 25 students from upcountry region. The number of students choosing Science and Technology streams are close to 20% now

We are still looking for sponsorships for 15 of these students, let us know if you can help out.
Sponsorship amounts are AUD$400 / CAD$400 / GBP 220 / USD 300 per year for 2 years only.
